I am passionate about cinema - I eat and breathe movies.

I met Johnny Depp twice on the 9th of May 2012 and 21st of July 2013. It was surreal.

"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear."

Completley aside from the end of episode 14 (whyyyy drama whyyyyy, my OTP sank itself faster than I could say God’s Gift! TT__TT), can we please appreciate this character developement?

And the pretty scene?

And can we also do a prayer circle that the writer won’t pull another Mimi on us? Giving us hope and then crushing it all the more cruelly? Can you not do that? Yes? That would be really awesome!

“I think one owes it to the audience to go out there and give them something different each time. I like that before I even go in front of the cameras, the studio’s reaction will be fear.”
— Johnny Depp, from the April 2014 issue of Interview Magazine

"But he’s Sherlock - who would he bother protecting?"

Anonymous asked: Now you've had time to think, what are your thoughts on the Moriarty thing?

I’ve had some thoughts on this, but I am obviously committing the capital offence of theorising without evidence.

Honestly? I think it’s Moran.

I think Moriarty is dead. Even thought Sherlock did not take the time to check his pulse, Mycroft would have ensured it. Mycroft himself calls Moriarty’s survival “impossible,” not a word we’ve heard Mycroft throw around before, presumably because he knows what happened with Moriarty’s corpse. If he’s not got it stashed in a meat locker somewhere then I will be very disappointed!

While we have already met a man named Lord Moran, no first name given, in The Empty Hearse, I am not convinced that this is meant to be Colonel Sebastian Moran, the sniper, a brute and tiger-killer, and Moriarty’s right hand man. Some very clever commentators have already pointed out that there is another canonical Moran, in the Boscombe Valley Mystery. This Moran (again, no first name given) is associated with the Ballarat Gang, a name that was misheard in the story as ‘rat’. That Lord Moran is a part of Sherlock’s gang of rats is very telling - he’s the other Moran.

It’s no coincidence that, the reunion aside, we didn’t get much of the plot of The Empty House in The Empty Hearse - they weren’t telling that story. They held over the hallmarks of that story - an empty house, a ‘dummy’, a shooter deceived - for His Last Vow. The story that introduced Sebastian Moran coincides with the episode that contained ‘Moriarty’s’ return. I think the evidence is mounting, and the writers have done something very clever.

As much as I would like it to be Mycroft, rescuing his brother in a swift and prompt manner - and they have undercut big cliffhangers like that before, such as the explosion at the pool that never was - I strongly suspect that we will be meeting the real Sebastian Moran next series.

Also, this may mean that they will be adapting The Valley of Fear - the other Moriarty story, that is so rarely adapted - and that would be very good.

WOAH BUT that moment where Mycroft puts too much pressure on Sherlock in his mindpalace and he cannot use him as replacement and he slaps himself several times and yells “Not you.” At Mycroft only to point at John. “You. It is always you….
